Grind it all up and enjoy! It will smell very, very, very delicious and pleasant. The “seeds of love” is unfortunately something I cannot explain much as it was a special resin that I bought from a local store who claimed it was an African herb composite that women would toss into the flames to make their bodies fertile for childbearing. This symbolism is powerful in manifestation. If you cannot find these, add in some amazing patchouli oil or leaves!

Wish Powder is used universally for all magical intentions in prayer, healing, gift receiving, giving, hoping, and manifestation. Sprinkle some over a threshold to allow good spirits in, burn some in a cauldron with cinnamon to get that job, carry some with you for good luck, or add it to a bath to enjoy profound healing. It’s all limitless.

Took a long hot bath to just cleanse, ground out my entire mind, body, spirit, and soul, and to know full relaxation. I drew the hot water and tossed in some sea salt, orange, lemon, lavender, clove, and pine essential oils, candles all over, in silence to allow higher self and cosmic awareness to be witnessed, and a hot herbal tea made of rooibos chai, lavender buds, and geranium flowers (spiritual cleansing and detoxing) in a silver-plated pot. I set up a mini bath altar consisting of an Ankh bone fetish, snowflake obsidian crystal, a quartz crystal, Madagascar carnelian, and a 65-million-year-old ammonite half on an agate disk. In addition to the bath altar, I set up a tarot altar using specific cards which held their own spiritual symbolism. This tarot altar was set up to act as the underlying goal at hand for my cleansing; it was a directing consciousness.

As I sipped the tea, I allowed my vessel to cleanse, relax, reconnect, and absorb all the energies of the altars, the water, and the soul of the candles. This ceremonial process allows me to drink of the cleansing brew, its consciousness becoming one with mine, its consciousness cleansing mine, and allowing my body to expel of all stresses through urination and skin detoxification. The silence allowed me to cease inner and outer chatter and thus reconnect with cosmic awareness, allowing my chakras to open, and so that I could witness my consciousness and all consciousness around. When you allow yourself to slow down, be still, and rest a while in this type of rejuvenating vessel, this gracious water which will take of your consciousness and heal your being, you are reconnected to great spirit, you are humbled, and you are free of all material and immaterial baggage. You just exist and you are well.

After the bath, I’m always left pensive, and in the winter time, I love to open my front door and sit in my towel with the freezing air rushing over my body. This seems to fill me with aliveness and power, the endurance of transitioning from extreme hot to extreme cold. Sometimes I like to change the tea and the ceremonies, like with using crystal wands or not, and to what oils I’ll choose and for what purposes, also what crystals I’ll use or what music I might like to enjoy.

Also, after my bath, I got out and went immediately to my phone and turned it on to see that it was 2:22am. :) I know that I was heard, I have been cleansed, and in my sleep, I will heal even more, and wake up full charged. Thank you, thank you, thank you great god, goddess, sun, moon, earth, higher self, and cosmos.

Meanings and Properties

• Water: A primary element, she represents the ability to feel and to heal. By simply submerging oneself in water, you are healed and cleansed much like how we put our crystals in running water. The water will collect energy and take it with it, typically cleansing old stagnant energies.
• Sea Salt: Protection from Mother Earth herself
• Orange Oil: Uplifting the spirit and inserting the happiness of the sun himself into your body and filling you with positive, extroverted consciousness.
• Lemon Oil: Embracing the world for what it is but also remembering that you are the master of your own universe, you are the magician, so go forth and create what lines up with your greater efforts.
• Clove Oil: Establishing a habit of systematic relaxation and finding the bliss even when in emotionally high situations.
• Lavender Oil: Full relaxation, love, bliss, harmony, protection, grace.
• Pine Oil: Consecrating, blessing, purifying, and sanctifying all energy and beings. It purges the aura and replaces it with mystical consciousness.
• Candles: To illuminate you on your path of healing and to provide a natural light for optimum connection and ambiance which is best for healing.
• Rooibos Chai: Very inviting, zappy energy which electrifies the body and instigates the inner chakras to come together into awareness and become jolly and active in the best expression. I’ve also found the energy of Rooibos to be calm yet stinging with power. When the cinnamon/spicy flavors meet, it becomes a spitfire for positive intention.
• Lavender Buds: Same of lavender oil, the buds in a tea bring out the subtle, gentle aspect of lavender, whereas I’ve found the oil can be dominant and aggressive when it comes to purifying out negative forces. An infusion from lavender buds is best for internal cleansing, oils always for external cleansing.
• Geranium Petals: My favorite, Geranium is the most rewarding, giving, subtle energy of all. It is an energy for friendship, health, true love, true romance, and all things benign. It is not a violent or aggressive plant at all, but it can easily become aggressive when its stems are used in rootwork. Geranium is an androgynous energy in my experience and it shifts with pure harmony and ease to suit the intention and synthesize naturally for your energy type. In a tea, it will easily invigorate you with joy.
• Silver: Protecting the tea from dark forces, enhancing all magic and mysticism, conductor of energy and assurance of divine working. Silver is a very traditionally spiritual metal used by all magicians and practitioners because of its association to the moon.
• Agate Disk: Utmost grounding, the agate disk is customary to place other vessels upon it for working, and best used as an altar foundation as its energy builds, creates, manifests, and brings in unity, balance, and prosperity.
• Ankh: An ancient conduit of energy/consciousness, of earth and cosmos, mundane and mystical. The Ankh is the vehicle and engine for all magical working and mysticism. It is there to protect, create, and dismantle all forces that do not line up with your efforts.
• Carnelian: A stone of creativity and emotional healing. It relates with the sacral chakra, so it helps to ease emotional turmoil so that you can reconnect and ground. Cleansing of the aura and aura of all beings.
• Snowflake Obsidian: One of my personal favorites next to Smokey Quartz, which whereas smokey is a more an aggressive stone, this obsidian is more of an airy, fluffy, jolly stone. It is a very grounding stone, forcing a path from the root to the deep earth, as it relies on its volcanic origins. Obsidian has its place in history as being a rough, feared yet respected energy, but for me, it’s quite opposite once you begin dedicating yourself to working with its energy. It’s very rewarding and allows energy to be immediately recycled and transmuted, which is why it’s very powerful for protection because most energies won’t go near it as it is very unforgiving. It also has the yin/yang symbolism of the white and black and is a stone of equilibrium.
• Ammonite: Stability, love, relaxation, root chakra, protection. The ammonite communes with the carnelian, Ankh, and other stones to allow for the immense healing of all past, trauma, stress, and emotions which do not line up with your greater good.
• Hematite Ring: For grounding, earth connection, and relaxation. Hematite will also help get the blood going, so with the heat from the bath, it’ll help your body to detox physical toxins and spiritual dis-ease.
• Valerian Root Capsule: Relaxation, Purging harmful/rotten energy. I took a valerian root capsule (1000mg, extra strength) for not only relaxing me and initiating drowsiness and to slow my over-active mind, but to ward off all unwanted energies in my body and to help assist the tea in better spiritually detoxing my body.
• Praying To Water: Gratitude is the highest form of vibration on earth, so it is expected to show your gratitude by praying to the water. This is to be done as the water is drawing and while it is draining. Thank the vessel for taking your ailments, rejuvenating you, and replacing negativity with warm love and positivity.
• Bath Offering: It’s respectful to share your tea with the water in gratitude for its services.
• Urination: It’s a weird aspect to the bath, but allow yourself to release all inner dis-ease and stress from your body in this manner. Allow your body to detox these energies and allow the oils, crystals, and water to soak up that energy and ground it deep into Earth, it is not in your body anymore, it’s not in the water, it’s gone, cleansed, and transmuted into positive energy.
• Quartz Crystal Wand: Consecrating water and entire room for healing. Weave a circle and/or insert seals, symbols, and thought forms as enhancements.
• Black Tourmaline Wand: Grounding almost immediately all negative/unwanted forces and energies which do not line up with your efforts and greater good. It recycles into the earth all negative emotions and energies in a space and then establishes a void space where you then insert positive energy. Will clear out anger and hatred from an area, even bad spirits.
• Tarot Cards I: Devil Reversed with black tourmaline on it to represent spiritual over material for full grounding and healing the ego body.
• Tarot Cards II: Knight of Cups, The Fool, Death, The Sun, The Moon, Temperance, The World, The High Priestess, The Star, Ace of Cups, and The Hermit: The main underlying consciousness here with the tarot altar was to ensure the elimination of all stressful emotions/energies working against me in my abilities to know, to transcend, to change positively, to focus in general, to ground, and to manifest into my life what I believe is my greater good with all my personal struggles in home, career, life, love, and more.
• Tarot Cards III: You can also bring out The Empress card if you’d like to invoke Mother Earth herself into your bath if you feel her presence is necessary for whatever intended purpose. She as our great mother is always grateful to connect with us in ways such as this ,as it shows our love and dedication, and the warm bath and her invocation reminds us of the womb of our own familial mother who carried us. This awareness provides for the best healing.

Have you ever made a mojo bag, poppet, doll, binding, or any magical charm, amulet, or object of spellcraft that you wanted to destroy, but had doubts on how to properly do it? Perhaps you forgot to include an expiration date in your workings because you were in a hurry at the time or forgot. Things like these can be mega tricky depending on the item. A lot of people will shred, break, throw away, or damage these objects, having consciously felt it has been undone, but an energy still lingers. This is not the case with everything. Some objects, like mojo bags, are living entities, extensions of spirit that has been created. This consciousness has to be properly un-created if you will.

Here’s What To Do

Dismantling magical items is a very painless and simple task, but dire should anyone, say, not properly dismantle a mojo bag, and this also works with elementals that one has created of their essence. The good thing about most magical items is that they already have pre-determined expiration dates simply when one includes moon magic or hasn’t fed their objects with personal power or herbal energy, etc.

Requirements

• Sea salt,
• Smudge wand,
• Parchment paper & Pencil,
• Cauldron/bon fire,

This is going to be similar to an uncrossing, and you may actually perform one on it if you’d please (click here), but this is going to be rather quick. Refer to the large circle of the uncrossing cross in the graphic on that page.

• For dry materials, dismantle every part of the object in the center on a piece of parchment paper that has the un-cross on it.
• For liquids, in a bowl (glass or wood), let liquid drip into the bowl and then dismantle the rest of the materials in the bowl, place this in the un-cross circle.
• If it’s a metal object or something else that cannot easily be destroyed, refer to an uncrossing and then bury the item in white cloth for earth to cleanse. You may retrieve it when needed if needed. If worried of rainwater, put in a ziplock baggie, mama earth cleanses no differently.

Cover the items in the circle with sea salt, and while smudging everything, recite this chant a few times, fold the paper around it all lightly, and then toss it all in the fire to burn completely,

Smudge, smudge, I clear it all, Erase this being I tell to fall,

Expire this item, uncross with might, And depart of its lasting life.

For it had served me well, I thank, Now its time to draw a blank,

Fire o’ fire, ye of high abbot, Leave no vessel for it to inhabit.

My word my law, I cease this life, Shall it know not more of any rife.

If burned in cauldron, you may take of the ashes and bury them by a friendly pine/cedar tree. Ask them to absorb the ashes and in turn, converting them into their own being, thus ultimately moving forward from the magical item.

For all purposes, for all reasons. It will protect you from onslaught, retaliation, dark magic, negative forces, entities, and anything with the intention for the ruining of you or your life. This mojo bag requires blood as feeding, so please be safe, use sterile equipment, and sanitize yourself properly. You will be working with poisonous plants.

Requirements

• White cloth, or a piece of an old white tee shirt,
• Rosemary leaves, dried or fresh,
• Cedar leaves, dried or fresh,
• Sage, ground leaves,
• Foxglove leaves, dried or fresh,
• Valerian root, dried
• Parchment paper,
• Sea salt,
• Black string,
• Your own hair,
• Optional witches bottle,
• Cauldron, wooden bowl, pencil, wand, spoon, knife,
• Smudge wand or sacred water,
• Cedarwood essential oil,
• Rosemary essential oil,
• Pine essential oil,
• Small Rosequartz and Hematite crystal.

Smudge everything and the space you are using or bless all with sacred/holy water.

In your wooden bowl, spoon in foxglove leaves (will stop the heart if ingested, keep track of all quantities). Drop in valerian root, some of your hair, and cover completely the ground sage over everything in the bowl.

Foxglove to protect me from all dark workings, entities, and forces that are placed before my path or try to afflict me. Should these entities come for the ruin of my path, they will be deflected by the sting of its mercilessness.

Valerian Root to ward off with its stench all darkness that seeks for the ruin of my path, my health, my life, and all things dear to me.

My hair to declare as the being who will be protected.

With your wand, weave these sigils, but you may weave your own for your own purposes. Weave the symbols from North, East, South, and West in a quad-seal formation of Neptune (trident; astrology symbol), Thor (thurisaz), Mother Earth (pentacle), and ChoKuRei (reiki seal for power/protection). In the center put the Ankh, as you will be bringing the mojo bag to life.

Many teach that one should not mix pantheons and symbols together, but I practice theosophy in that I believe in the inter-connected-ness of all consciousness and the experiences, symbols, cultures, faiths, and beliefs of all.

After this, with your wand, imagine a beam of white light coming from the bowl into the sky and then pure white light energy coming down unto it. Imagine a merkaba coming down from the sky, through your ceiling (if indoors), and place it into the bowl’s ingredient. Give this bowl life and put in your intentions for protection. Speak life into it,

I make this a vessel of my protection. Neptune, Thor, Mother Earth, ChoKuRei, and Ankh,

Protect me. Protect me. Protect me.

Now that this is prepared, set it aside and place down your cloth, 6x6” should be good. On the square cloth (square for stability), drop down your essential oils,

Rosemary to repel. Pine to cloak me. Cedarwood to banish.

On the corners of the cloth, with a black/gray sharpie, draw the protective symbols and the ankh in the center. Place down a layer of ground sage and then a layer of sea salt.

Get your cauldron out, use your wand to dispel any previous energy from it if it hasn’t been smudged, and lay down a layer of ground sage. On a piece of parchment paper, write out your intentions, I’ll give a few examples,

1. Protect me from _____. Disallow any of their workings, good and/or bad to affect me. Take what they send to me and send it back to them. May anything directed at me from _____ search for all eternity so long as it exists, for it cannot get me.

2. I am working tonight in a bad area. Provide protection from the dark forces at hand and any unluckiness, violence, or misfortune. Protect me tonight while I am walking to and from work from my car.

3. Protect my mother who is ill. Disallow any negative energies to further decline her health. Take her sickness and place it deep into the earth to be cleansed. Shall she be well soon.

Take this parchment paper and burn it in the cauldron. Once the ashes have cooled, placed them along with the other contents of the cloth and dump the contents of the bowl onto the cloth also.

Ask upon the protection of your witches bottle, if you have decided to use one that you have made. This energy should be directed using your hand and making a connection from your heart to the bottle to the mojo bag.

Take now your knife and make a small cut on your pinky for blood, this will heal in a week. Dab your blood carefully as not to touch any of the contents on the back side of the cloth, or you may drop it midair on top of it all. You might also like to try making your mouth very dry by sucking on and swallowing your saliva and abrasively flossing a tooth. Collect the blood that appears on a q-tip or swab and dab it on the mojo bag.

Place in your crystals, speak,

Rosequartz to act out of purest intention and love.

Hematite to assist and ensure darkness has been grounded from me.

String the bag up and place it in your cauldron to allow for time to awaken and come to life. This could take an entire night. You may bury it by a pine tree that you have made a pact with to protect you until it is dug up, or you may keep it on your altar and feed it monthly with oils, or you may keep it with your witches bottle and have the bottle feed the mojo bag on its own.

Remember, these bags are extensions of your spirit and must be fed. There are many ways to feed them, oils, bodily fluids, perfumes, alcohol, and herbs.

Got a decent oil collection and a few baking odds and ends, but no money to afford the spa or buy spa-hopeful products, that are a likely toxic melody? You only need a few ingredients to rejuvenate your skin, heal your ailments, relax your muscles, clear up skin issues, and detox the largest organ on your body.

Run a hot bath, 98 F (36.6 C) or more, or as hot as you can tolerate.

• 4 drops lavender essential oil,
• 2 drops pine essential oil,
• 2 drops rose geranium essential oil,
• 1/4 C sea salt,
• 1/4 C sodium bicarbonate,
• Freshly cut orange slices,
• Egyptian musk incense,
• Frankincense,
• Large candle for ambiance,
• Tall glass of water or something cold to drink,
• Green calcite, amethyst, clear quartz, and rose quartz
• Coconut oil for after bath.

After the bath water has filled the tub and all calmness is felt, light the illuminating candle, the uplifting incense, add in the cleansing ingredients, let the playful and invigorating orange slices float about (don’t squeeze them, the orange flesh is hard to clean up), place the enchanted crystals in the water, and peacefully bask in the silence as your skin regenerates every bit of itself. Make sure you hydrate while you’re in the tub. :)

Choose yourself to hook up the laptop or some speakers to play some music or bask in silence as you absorb from full receptivity. Rinse off body with shower head before getting out.

Apply a teaspoon of coconut oil to skin with a drop of lavender essential oil all over your body as an all-around moisturizer and a great source of Vitamin E, skin-healthy proteins, a natural glow, and anti-oxidation.

I wrote up two pages of affirmations and read them to Thoth, God of divine intelligence and the moon, then burned them to be released and manifested, referred to my Sacred Ocean Water ritual to make some more holy water, and then blessed all of my essential oils, my tumor/cancer herb capsules, my apartment, and placed all my crystals, tools, things, and jewelry in my window sill to charge.

The evolutionary wave of change continues with the Capricorn Full Moon on July 3. We are on the cusp of a major shift in consciousness.  What is not built on Love and Truth is dissolving. The cuddly Sun in Cancer in opposition to the Full Moon in crusty Capricorn is requiring us to balance our inner needs with our outer responsibilities.

Pluto is conjunct—sitting next to the Moon and opposing the Sun.  Conjunctions are new beginnings. Conjunctions activate new cycles. Oppositions are awareness’s that come to us through external events, situations and other people. We are being challenged to change and evolve. We are required to increase our Self-mastery.

Yet, the ego personality is needy with an insatiable appetite. This can pull us into the dark side by driving our addictions, codependent relationships, toxic jobs and endless distractions. Our cure is through our personal development, Self-mastery and soul evolution. The path of Self-mastery requires alone time to develop a solid connection t our Inner Being and our Source. This place of inner strength builds a strong personal foundation, integrity, JOY and wholeness. The Soul to Source connection increases our light, vibration and consciousness.

The soul seeks freedom and union with her divine lover our Higher Self. Did you know that the soul-to-Higher Self-connection is the core teaching of Sleeping Beauty and Snow White? The soul is feminine in nature. The Higher Self is male.  In the story, Snow White and Sleeping Beauty fall under the spell of an evil Queen—the prison matrix of third dimension. Evil means energy (light-consciousness) veiled—e-veiled.

Need an altar that needs scrubbing, or a chakra center that needs cleansing, or an area that needs healing energies, or some protection while out and about for the day, or a sanctifying cleanser? Here’s a great blend for those purposes. Put a faint dab here and there and rub it on the skin, clothing, articles, and surfaces.

Necessities:

• Sea salt,
• Grapeseed oil,
• Pine essential oil,
• Cedar essential oil,
• Lavender essential oil,
• Clary sage essential oil,
• 1/2 oz. rolling ball bottle,

Mix grapeseed oil with a half pinch of sea salt, and a drop of each oil. You can drop a small quartz point in if you have one. Wave your wand over it to bless with your intentions, chant:

I am divine being, I am divine feeling, I am divine doing, I am divine loving, I am divine speaking, I am divine perceiving, I am divine knowing.

I am divinity incarnated. I am a sacred being. I am a loved being. I am a protected being. I am a being of pure intention and thought. All that I create magically is sacred and pure of intention.

I am holy, so therefore what I do is pure and cleansing. Charge all that I do with the highest of intentions. Make sacred and holy of that which I do. These repel negativity, evil, wrongdoing, and malicious intent by all. Defend and deflect all which strives for the ruin of this soul and its endeavors.

Be it done, be it done, be it done.

Got an old room that needs cleaning, moving out from a home or an apartment, looking to do some etheric dusting after poor company left their baggage in your home, need an idea for Spring cleaning and Fall cleaning for next year, looking to part with emotional ties to objects and spaces? Here’s a great idea modified from a good friend of mine.

Sage (smudging), Rosemary (warding off evil), Cedar (purification), and Pine (protection) are four of my favorites for healing, protection, energetic banishment, exorcism of negative energy (not to be confused with the exorcism of demons or negative entities, typically poisonous plants are used for this), feng shui, purification, absolving emotional residue, and cleansing. I love them as dearly as any earth-dweller would, so I thought I’d share this homemade cleanser, not cleaner, because those commercial products are polluting our homes and spirits.

The bad thing about most cleaners is that they’re horrible for the environment, you, pets, and others. Borax is so much better, heck, you could just use sea salt, lemon juice, and some essential oils to make a true green cleaner, but borax is such a useful compound. You can use it to make dish detergent, laundry detergent, and of course, cleaning soaps. And like anything designated as a cleaner, green or not, never ingest it or allow it to come inside the body.

The second bad thing about cleaners is that they often only kick around energy, rather cleanse/absolve it completely and get rid of it, and almost everybody forgets about those walls and the ceiling, which a clean ceiling is vital to receiving that which comes from above, and of course, clean floors for that which comes from below. The walls and majorly the low and high corners of any room collects the most negativity. It’s so important to always run sage or frankincense in the corners of rooms once a month.

Ceilings and walls are often never dirty-dirty to the naked eye, but to the trained eye, they collect much dust over the years, and to the trained psychic, they collect energy too, lots of it, and so do the things in those rooms. As we know, dust, dirt, and filth accumulate and procure an environment for bacteria and mites and other microscopic pests that cause us sickness and dis-ease, especially carpets. It’s always important to vacuum carpets once a week, at least once a month for those who aren’t able to clean frequently. I get it, right now, you’re probably listing several very understanding excuses for the reasons behind a lack of cleaning, but that’s ok.

So long as you’re smudging at least once a week or once a month, and it can be so beneficial in even just walking around each room with frankincense and doing the whole home in 5 minutes. Anything helps, and as a witch, it is our responsibility to have an energetically clean home, and a physically clean home. Our rooms, our home, it is our sanctuary, and like a temple, we must respect it.

So instead of abusing that temple with polluting commercialized cleaners that just aren’t toxic-free, make your own, and enjoy the killing of two birds with one stone of cleansing and cleaning at the same time.

The quality of our environments both personally and impersonally directly correlates to the quality of our mood, spirit, stamina, longevity, and health. So smudge, cleanse, clean, ground, relax, and find peace; this is vital especially given the toxic world that we live in today.

Rosemary and Sage Scrub, heavily modified from Nicole Bedy’s original tea scrub for walls.

1. Varied amount of fresh or dried rosemary, sage, and/or cedar/pine,
2. Water, 2-3 cups distilled or purified,
3. Borax, 3-4 tablespoons,
4. Sea salt, 2-3 tablespoons,
5. Lemon juice or oil, whole lemon or 5-10 drops oil,
6. Container, plastic spray bottle or jar for storage,
7. Sharpie or label for ingredients as warning for safety,

Boil water on the stove, steep the sage and rosemary leaves, allow to naturally cool. While it steeps, sing this chant here and there to encourage the little beauties to bring out their peaceful and cleansing energies.

Blessed this, O Sage and Mary,

Olden space, anew by what I carry,

Energy absolved by friends so merry,

Walls and floors to welcome Fairies,

Pour the tea into a container and mix in the borax, lemon juice, and sea salt. Blow into the mixture the breath of life, asking this mixture with your spirit to serve your purpose. Give a soft prayer if you may. When in need, pour into a bowl with rags to scrub, or use as a spray if you have a spray bottle.

Water is the most significant molecule on Earth. It erodes, it rots, it nurtures life, it lubricates, it is a universal solvent, it conducts electricity, even conducts consciousness. Water is the symbol of the great womb, it is dignified and honored by the chalice as well as a healthy navel chakra.

Even in magic, water is as significant. Any witch knows the raw power, the majesty, the vitality of magic that is water. We use it in our spellcraft, our holy water, our blessings, our body, our cleansing, our potions, our brews, and teas. It is by the night we often wax over bowls of it, for divination and scrying. We even charge it with intentions/oils and leave it sitting out to allow the moisture to evaporate into the room to add its intentions to the atmosphere.

Knowing and practicing an easy but effective water cleanse for magic, for plant watering, for cooking, and for consumption contributes additional joys that we often take for granted.

Water carries so much negativity that many typically are unaware of. Municipal drinking water, or tap water, carries the residues of harsh chemicals such as solvents, pesticides, and cleaners, as well as traces of arsenic, mercury, lead, fluoride, and chlorine. With all of the toxins present in water, it’s even more vital to our prana/life force energy that we sanctify our water and flood it with positive intentions. So that it may disallow these toxins from wreaking their chaos in our bodies and in our spellcraft.

You may be thinking, I have to do this long rite every time I want to use water? Well, that’s not really necessary. This rite can certainly be applied to using the water to cleanse small clear quartz crystals which will go in your drinking glass, water reservoir, water cans, showers/tubs, sinks, etc. Or include these crystals with the rite, and as a side, ask that they too be cleansed like the water, and even dipped in the water as if to christen them.

For those who can afford purified/distilled drinking water, I highly recommend it. Fluoride is the number one third eye inhibitor, next to traumatic childhood raising. Even so that purified and distilled drinking water is devoid of these toxins, they have still collected or have been charged with negative consciousness, which only the unaware/uncaring dare drink/use. To throw out there, some bottled water companies have falsely advertised their water as “purified”, when it was actually tap water.

By this awareness, might all witches live in perfect love and perfect trust to their water, the catalyst to the seeds of life, and to our rituals grand and small. The elements are always with us, and for some, it often starts with sacred/holy water for the blessing and purification of all tools which we wield. I even use holy water on my brow at night to cleanse my third eye for sleeping.

It’s the most significant and abundant material in our lives, why wouldn’t we want it residing in its purest composition and spiritual state? This rite will achieve this and more for your water, but ocean water straight from the source gathered by moonlight or full moon is best/valuably sought, but when you live on mainland, sometimes an imitation is just as effective. If you have access to ocean water, the only ritual you need do is add any protective oils/crystals to it in circle and ask that the great mother of earth and sea make it sacred/holy.

Sacred Imitation Ocean Water Rite

This particular rite has been designed for someone who doesn’t live by the sea or the ocean. I love pine oil, and I am very earth-based in my rites, so I incorporate a lot of earth qualities. Pine offers a very protective, virile, masculine compliment to the androgynous healing/evil warding energy of lavender. The synergy is graceful and tender yet might and fierce, much like Shiva. This rite isn’t long and doesn’t require all of the aesthetics. A simple ocean water rite is as quick as a jar of water, 1-3tsp sea salt, and focusing white light into it, commanding with throat/heart/navel for it to become sacred by the goodness of divinity, purity, and white light.

Necessities:

1. Purified/Distilled water, tap water, or ocean water
2. Sage leaf bundle, ground, or resin or incense
3. Rose, Pine, Sage, Rosemary, Lavender, and/or Spiritual incense
4. Sea salt, or iodized salt
5. Pine, lavender, and/or rose essential oil
6. Wine/juice and/or offerings
7. Container/Bowl & matches
8. Feathers, or sea feathers
9. Cauldron, chalice, sword, and wand
10. White/Blue taper candles
11. Any protective statuettes, crystals, amulets, trinkets

Begin by smudging yourself and your aura, take deep breaths to release all stresses of the day, then smudge all of your necessities. Sweep your space with your smudged feathers, cast your circle over your work space, acknowledge the elements and invoke them into your circle while drawing a focus on water.

If you have a mirror and you’re working under full/moon light, place your dish/jar on this mirror to reflect the moon. You can also do this in the window that has moonshine coming in.

Wand pointed to ground, Invoke Divine Mother Earth into the circle,

Mother might I ask you once more again,

As your nurtured child, from now and from then,

Your love and warmth, protect me from below,

Come up into my circle, for all to be shown.

Wand pointing up, Invoke Divine Father Sky into the circle,

Father might I ask you once more again,

As your nurtured child, from now and from then,

Your strength and vitality, protect me from above,

Come down into my circle, to give all of your love.

Wand pointed at the west, Invoke the greater goddess of the sea into your space, if you have a specific deity, invoke his/her name directly. Fill her/him a chalice with wine and toast to her presence. An offering of a sea shell or aquamarine will do.

“Goddess of the sea and cleansing oceans so free,

With this wine, I greet, for possible it’d not be,

That it is your heart that beats in the creative waters of all,

May you offer your power for me and answer my call.”

Light the blue candle in the name of water,

“Blessed be this candle blue,

For you to offer your cleansing hue.”

Light the white candle in the name of any guides, angels, and divine light,

“O’ Divine light may your purity shower this rite.

Protect my workings through day and through night.”

Drop your essential oils into the water,

“Pine of Mars, and Lavender of Mercury,

Lend down your protection, grace, and purity.

Clasp the salt in your hand. Put positive, white light and good thought-forms into it. Allow joy, love, compassion, and all things divine come from the heart, through the navel, and into the salt vessel. Now, add in the salt, visualizing a truthful, pure white light coming off of it, you may point your wand at the water vessel,

Sacred salt of the sea, it is by your glowing beauty,

That this water be made pure and knowingly holy,

And as I drop you into your darkened space,

Fill with white light, and reflect the smile on my face.

Holy Mother and Father in conjunction with the goddess of all seas,

May this sacred water hold the properties of ye, repel all evil, and harmful negativity.

By my strong voice, this water and container be pure,

That even a drop so tiny, no wickedness goes uncured.

As I will this rite to be,

So mote it be, so mote it be.

Continue supplying your purity, your love, and allow the Goddess of the Sea to work with any oils, crystals, incense, and other items that you have supplied while the candles burn down, you may leave the circle correctly and return. When the candles have burned down, it is a signature of completion, and the Goddess of the Sea has made the water sacred and holy.

Thank all of your crystals/oils/guides/trinkets that had taken place, thank the elements for keeping watch at their quarters, thank Mama Earth for watching your back from below, thank Father sky from watching your back from above, thank the candles, thank the goddess/god of the sea, and don’t forget to thank poor old Mr. Sage.. ! :)

Evoke them all and dismiss respectfully, uncast your circle, and then finish your wine/juice for funsies while you clean up.

Store the water for as long as you want, once it is sacred, it cannot go untainted in its vessel unless it has deliberately been tainted by a truly intending harmful person. Use sacred/holy water for cleansing, consecrating, blessing, add to potions for amplification, put in the corners of rooms to rid negative energy, add to baths, and pretty much anything.
